进入新世纪,中国花鸟画面临着进一步提高创作水平和创造发展的新局面,为了花鸟画艺术创作的推进与繁荣,中央美术学院举办了由郭怡孮教授为导师的花鸟画创作高研班,这是中央美院,也是全国首次举办的以花鸟画创作为目的的高级创作研修班。来自全国各地以及台湾地区和新加坡等地的25位中青年花鸟画家,面向新世纪、怀着使命感,在导师的带领下,利用群体的力量,做深入探索和集体实践。正是出于发展变革花鸟画的愿望,使其古老的中国花鸟画成为当代文化的载体,他们在思索和实践着用花鸟画表现更为宽广的社会主题,去表现现代人的审美情趣,努力去创造有时代感、有新意的花鸟画。
In the new century, China’s bird and flower painting faces a new situation of further improvement in creative level and creation.
