This paper presents a compact solid-state laser system using aspheric optics and thin wafer-shaped activation elements that pump the activation elements from the bottom with the radiation from the semiconductor laser array. Resonance mirrors, diode arrays, activation elements and refrigeration systems are connected in a single unit. It is shown that the use of a hybrid device, an unstable resonator, in the composition of the laser, can reduce the diffraction of the focused laser beam and result in an increase of the power density at the focal point.
