小水电是最普通的可再生能源之一,也是无污染,更利于环保和健康的能源。建低水头电站整体昂贵,人们总希望能最大限度地减小总投资。合理组合利用渠道中相邻的跌水可降低小水电成本。影响建渠道跌水式小水电成本的因素很多,可根据渠道已有的跌水,设计出不同的布置方案来组合利用这些跌水,通过成本分析,最终选定组合连续跌水间距的最优布置方案。分析表明,如果连续跌水的间距为0.5 km或更短,则组合相邻已有的跌水,开发小水电就更经济;如果连续跌水的间距为3 km或更长,以分开利用渠道跌水的形式开发小水电站则更合理。
