在毛主席革命路线的指引下,随着国民经济发展的需要,工农业生产用电量迅速增长,因此,大容量的新型冷却方式的电力变压器不断出现,同时,大量原有的机组的增容改造工作也在广泛进行。这些设备的安全经济运行的重要条件之一,就是准确地掌握并限制线圈的温度变化。由于实际冷却条件的错综复杂,给理论计算带来了一定的困难,因此直接测量运行中变压器线圈的真实温度,特别是最高温区的温度,便具有十分重要的现实意义。
