经常在报纸电视中看到××政府为民办×件实事的报道。例如《消费报》6月24日报道,作为1994年上海市政府为民办实事的项目之一——新增百家超市设专柜卖净菜,目前已进入了实质性的启动阶段。再如《浙江日报》9月5日载文,第10个教师节到来前夕,普陀区政府又为海岛教师办了5件实事。笔者认为这种提法不妥。 首先,实事求是为民办实事是各级政府最基本的工作态度。政府工作千头万绪,但只有轻重、大小、缓急,难易之分,没有实事不实事之别。哪个政府哪个工作人员会说自己办的不是实事呢?动笔前我曾翻阅《辞海》,想了解“实事”二字的修
