The New High School Biology Textbook (Compulsory) p. 267 explains this to producers: “The producers in the biosphere—green phytochemicals (as well as chemosynthetic bacteria) synthesize carbon dioxide and water in the atmosphere into sugars. Sugars and other organic compounds are then synthesized into organic substances such as lipids and proteins.” This remark points out that producers have minor chemosynthetic bacteria in addition to the main green plants. According to this, the producer’s definition can be summarized as: The producer is a creature that can make inorganic matter into organic matter. However, in the same textbook, on pages 263-264, there is such a statement: “All the ecosystems on earth need the energy from the sun. The producers of the ecosystem—the green plants that fix the solar energy to them through photosynthesis. In organic matter produced, the total amount of solar energy fixed by the producer is the total energy flowing through this ecosystem."
