White spot disease is the major epidemic of endangering shrimp farming in Asia. Its pathogen is a type of enveloped baculovirus, leukoplakia. This paper deals with the morphological structure, genomics, physicochemical properties, Sex, pathology and taxonomic status of research progress were reviewed.
