中國填詞,歷經多個朝代,呈現多種姿彩。基於傳統觀念,大多以爲詞的發展,至元而衰,至明而亡,但也有爲之抱打不平者,謂不可拘泥於‘餘分閏位’之見,視元、明之詞如無物。究竟怎樣正確地看待元詞?本文擬以趙孟頫的《松雪齋詞》爲例,對之進行一次抽樣檢查。即從兩個層面發展過程中史的確立,以及人們對於詞之所以爲詞的認識,進行綜合考察,進而驗證元人的理解及追求以及元詞的發展狀況及其在填詞史上所佔的位置。兩個層面,由聲家本色及騷人意度切入,既顯示現象與本質以及本原與來源相互間的關係,又將元人的理解及追求落實到創作實踐當中。而淒涼哀怨、情不自已的松雪詞,則在一定意義上成爲元詞特質的體現。這就是本文以之爲樣品的依據。
