人的睡眠有两个阶段:一个是浅睡期,一个是深睡期。德国汉堡心理学家安格里卡法丝女士指出,幼儿睡眠的质量与时间都会影响其生长发育。因此,家长要积极地用科学的方法调适孩子的睡眠。睡前可以听个故事英国心理学家西格曼博士说,父母在孩子临睡前读故事给他们听,有助于幼儿身心发展。西格曼认为,为孩子们读故事有许多好处,不单纯是为他们催眠。他说,读书的家庭出来的孩子也会喜欢读书,而爱读书的孩子通常功课都很好。更重要的是,故事还可以向他们传授道德价值观,在现时的社会背景下,这点尤为重要。
