蒸汽机车的枕弹簧箍(见图1,方套),以前都是自由锻造成形,工艺复杂,技术操作难度大,体力劳动繁重,生产效率低。枕弹簧方套下料重为3.5kg,其制坯为134×104×32(mm)的矩形板。成品高度与制坯高度之比为78:32。由于制坯厚度较薄,给反挤压成形增加了难度。方套反挤压成形能否达到锻件图要求,其决定因素是挤压力的大小,其次是坯料的加热温度、模具设计的合理性、模具粗糙度的高低以及模具的润滑等。
