In this paper, 11 years of long-term experiment was carried out to study the rebuilding and yield effects of degraded red soil nutrient pool (NPK) and the ways to correct the acid damage (aluminum damage). This article is the first part. The results showed that the nutrient level of red soil and latosol in southern China was low, which was the result of long-term soil degradation. According to the data of 1021 specimens, the phosphorus was most seriously degraded, followed by nitrogen and potassium again.
