Western music is a cultural product, and though there are many predecessors’ teaching experiences and achievements, there are ready-made audiovisual products that can assist in teaching, but these are indirect. Only by combining creative background teaching can students have a cultural and historical macroscopic understanding of the composers and works so as to have a better grasp of the ideological connotation of the works. At present, all the basic Is a written material, and these written materials, because of the limitations of scholarship and material sources, contradictions and fallacies are inevitable. I studied in Italy for six months, after visiting the cultural sites such as churches and reading books on culture and art history, especially the famous German scholar Spengler’s famous saying that Western culture is the product of the correspondence between man and God, As a result, the understanding of music has been elevated to one of two topics that are based on Western culture - a review on the heights of structural concepts. Some of the arguments are horizontally compared, described and analyzed in the hope that they will be helpful to future music teaching.
