过去,鞍钢生产绝热板的原料系采用抚顺章党电厂粉煤灰,用火车运至鞍钢,不仅给铁路增加压力,同时每吨粉煤灰耗资18元左右,因此,拟采用鞍钢粉煤灰代替,有关人员有针对性地对两种粉煤灰的化学成分、物理性能、矿物组成进行了对比分析,从理论上阐述了其代用的可行性.然后,结合鞍钢现行生产绝热板的工艺,试验生产了三批绝热板,经测定证明,各项性能完全符合技术指标要求还能产生较大的经济效益.
