在激烈竞争的当代社会中,人人都在抓紧每一分钟不停地吸收,一种紧迫感笼罩着每个工作岗位,那种三天不学习,就会落后于人的危机好象无处不在。 有这么一个故事:一个小伙子好不容易在一家林场找到了活计,报酬和工作条件都不错,他很珍惜,下决心要好好干。老板给了他一把利斧,并交代了伐木范围,就让他开始工作。第一天,他砍倒了18棵树,老板很满意,说:“小伙子,就这么干。”小伙子受到鼓励,干得更欢了。但第二天,他只砍了15棵,第三天,他加倍努力,可直到下班,只有10棵。小伙子觉得惭愧,就找老板解释,说:“我没偷懒啊,怎么就一天比一天砍得少呢?”老板笑着问:“小伙子,你磨过斧头没有?”
