85年国家教委颁布了理工科本科《大学英语教学大纲》。在《大纲》的教学要求中对培养学员的听力理解能力提出了明确的要求,即“能听懂英语讲课,对题材熟悉、句子结构比较简单、基本上没有生词、语速为每分钟120词的听力材料,一遍可以听懂,听力理解准确率以70%为合格。”根据《大纲》要求,我院从85级开始,为本科生(地方入学生)开设了听力理解课。从85年到90年间,我连续担任了87、88两个年级的听力理解课的教学任务,在这方面作了一些探索和总结,从而促进了教学,使学员的听力理解能力得到了较大的提高。在全国大学英语
