由于多种族、多文化、多宗教三大因素,马来西亚对学校道德教育,尤其是中小学道德教育高度重视,一直以来都受到社会各界的极大关注。政府和人民都为建设一个高尚、和谐的道德社会而不遗余力,并对学校道德教育寄予厚望。马来西亚的中小学道德教育辅导员制度独具特色,从最初的兼职到后来的规范化、专职阶段,走过了一条与众不同的发展道路。
Due to the multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-religious factors, Malaysia attaches great importance to school moral education, especially primary and secondary school moral education and has drawn great attention from all sectors of society. Both the government and the people have spared no efforts in building a noble and harmonious moral society and placed great hopes on school moral education. The system of primary and secondary school moral education counselors in Malaysia is unique and has gone through a distinctive path of development from the initial part-time to the later standardized and full-time stages.
