In 1971, Subramanian began a bone scan with a Tc-labeled phosphate compound. In recent years, thanks to advances in nuclear medicine equipment and improvements in Tc-labeled preparations, full-body bone images with good resolution have been obtained. This test is particularly suitable for the early detection of bone metastases in patients with malignant tumors. Facts have proved that this method is more sensitive than X-ray examination or biochemical examination. The authors collected 731 specimens that had undergone bone scans over the past year for analysis of diagnostic validity. Considering that bone metastases can rarely be diagnosed by histological examination, even autopsy cannot solve the bone
