一、地方志与年鉴的异同 地方志与年鉴（这里主要指地方综合年鉴）基本功能相同,都有为执政者提供科学的决策依据,为学术研究提供信息,为国情教育提供具体生动的乡土教材,即“存史、资治、教育”的功能。从本质上说,它们都是为政府行使管理职能和社会职能服务的,客观上留给我们和后人的是一地自然、经济、政治、军事、文化等经得起历史检验的资料,具有明显的现实作用和“经世致用”的历史作用。但是,地方志与年鉴又有一些明显的“质的区别”。
