为了创新辣椒品种,通过空间诱变与常规育种技术相结合的方法,育成辣椒新品种“宇椒7号”。该品种维生素C含量96.1mg·(100g)-1,可溶性固形物含量6.7%,干物质含量10.21%;病毒病病情指数19.77,疫病病情指数13.65;2010—2011年区域试验平均产量42 844kg·hm~(-2),较对照品种“哈椒六号”增产7.5%;2012—2013年生产试验平均产量43 204.8kg·hm~(-2),较对照品种“哈椒六号”增产14.5%。2014年初通过黑龙江省品种审定委员会审定。该品种突出特点为品质佳,丰产性好,抗逆性强、耐低温、高温季节不易落花落果,抗病毒病、耐疫病,综合抗病能力较强。
