microRNA-21(miR-21)是microRNAs(miRNAs)家族中的成员之一,它作为许多生物功能的关键调节因素,对于生物发育、心血管系统疾病、肿瘤及炎症反应等都具有不可忽视的作用。miR-21在所有类型的心血管细胞中均呈高表达,包括血管平滑肌细胞、血管内皮细胞、心肌细胞及心脏成纤维细胞等,参与多种心血管疾病的病理生理过程。文章简要介绍了miRNAs及miR-21,重点阐述了miR-21与心血管系统疾病,包括miR-21与心肌肥厚及心力衰竭、缺血性心脏疾病及其他心血管系统病理及生理关系,鉴于miR-21与心血管系统的密切联系性,预见其可能成为未来心血管疾病早期诊断治疗的新靶点。
As a member of the microRNAs (miRNAs) family, microRNA-21 (miR-21), as a key regulator of many biological functions, has a non-negligible effect on biological development, cardiovascular diseases, tumors and inflammatory responses . miR-21 is highly expressed in all types of cardiovascular cells, including vascular smooth muscle cells, vascular endothelial cells, cardiomyocytes and cardiac fibroblasts, and is involved in the pathophysiological processes of many cardiovascular diseases. The article briefly introduces miRNAs and miR-21, highlighting the relationship between miR-21 and cardiovascular diseases, including the relationship between miR-21 and cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure, ischemic heart disease and other cardiovascular diseases. Given that miR -21 is closely related to the cardiovascular system and it is forecasted that it may become a new target for the early diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in the future.
