漏电断路器在发达国家,已普遍安装。目前我国已大量采用。使用漏电保护器能大大减轻人体触电和设备漏电的危害。接零和接地能有效地防止人体触电和设备漏电,但有局限性。首先系统本身的可靠性不是很高,如TT系统,IT系统,由于施工质量差,年久失修,施工现场混乱,而不好管理等原因。接零和接地容易出现接触不良。甚至断线,使保护作用不能充分发挥,甚至失效。因而使用漏电保护器能弥补这些不足,但不能取代保护接零或接地。
