The abundance of CO 2 fluid inclusions in the six water-free peridotite captive minerals studied in the Cenozoic basalts in the five eastern China regions studied here. From the electron microprobe scattering images, it is found that there are some inclusions in these rock slices, all of them are filled with glass, and some have a hole in the middle (CO 2 has been lost).
