本研究从对比修辞的角度对我们使用的《外贸英语函电》教材和英文原版的《商务信函手册》中的信函进行了对比分析。研究发现,外贸函电教材中的信函具有更多的信息整合性特征,书面语特征更明显;而信函手册中的信函具有更多的介入性特征,口语体特征更明显。函电教材中信函对收信人的指称多用机构性模糊指称,而手册中几乎全部使用明确、具体、特指的个体指称。函电教材中的信函使用积极礼貌策略也明显较少。
This study compares the rhetorical aspects of the “Foreign Trade English Correspondence” textbook we use with the English original “Business Letters Handbook”. The study found that letters in foreign trade correspondence textbooks have more information conformity features and written language features are more obvious; while letters in letter manuals have more intrusive features and colloquial body features are more obvious. Correspondence textbook letters to the recipient’s allegations more use of institutional obfuscation, and almost all of the manual uses clear, specific, specific allegations. Correspondence and teaching materials used in the letter positive polite strategy is also significantly less.
