According to the “State Council Institutional Reform Plan” reviewed and approved by the First Session of the Ninth National People’s Congress and the State Council’s approval of relevant issues on China National Petroleum Corporation and China Petrochemical Corporation, after six months of active preparation, China National Petroleum Corporation and China Petrochemical Corporation officially announced its establishment. On July 27, the two major group companies were established in the Great Hall of the People.
