中国战争电影很早就有笑声,但很晚才产生了蕴含喜剧角度和情感状态的真正的喜剧。以喜剧性思维来表现战争的电影,是在上世纪90年代的冯小宁和张建亚手上完成的。在冯小宁的《举起手来》系列和张建亚的《绝境逢生》等作品中,一种表现抗战历史的电影新形态开始明确,它的基本特征是:民族主义的态度,发现差异、找到乖讹的审美视角,夸张漫画式的讽刺手法,癫狂的肢体动作。我们可以把它们叫作“癫狂喜剧”。“癫狂喜剧”为抗战题材的电影创作创立了一个喜剧类型。
