卵巢癌首选手术疗法,通常并用化学疗法。卵巢癌不能积极施行放射疗法的原因是:①卵巢癌大部分是腺癌,对放射线的敏感性低;②癌细胞扩散至整个腹腔的发生率高。为了提高治疗效果,采用增大照射剂量的方法,将导致副作用增加。而且,全腹部照射的范围包含对放射线敏感性高的骨髓、肝、肾及肠管淋巴滤泡等维持生命的脏器和组织。所以,除治疗效果外,必须考虑患者对放射线耐受量的问题。全腹照射有Opeofield法和moviog strip法,不管那种方法必须对骨盆腔施行追加照射。实际上,在手术及化疗使病灶缩小后,一般再行放射线照射。对残存癌组织多的病例治疗效果差,特别是对病
