本单元有《劝学》《鸿门宴》《琵琶行》《石钟山记》《梦溪笔谈》五篇文言文。其中有记叙文,有议论文、有说明文,还有诗歌。单元训练,在思想内容和表达方式上,记叙文应着重培养学生阅读复杂记叙文的能力,掌握记人叙事的线索,刻画人物的手法,叙议结合的写法。议论文,说明文应着重训练学生掌握论证、说明的方法。诗歌重在赏析。文言词语的知识,可着重训练实词古今词义的比较,一词多义,名词、动词、形容词的活用规律,句子成分倒置以及“之”、“为”、“焉”、“所”等虚词的用法。
