棉籽饼是棉籽榨油后的副产品,过去当地群众都是把它用作肥料或燃料。我厂自1977年开始试用棉籽饼种平菇,每斤干棉籽饼可产鲜菇0.8～1斤,单墩重10斤左右也常见。试验获得成功后,即在当地社队进行了普遍推广,据不完全统计,至今约有4万斤鲜菇投放市场,深受群众欢迎。为使这项工作得到进一步发展,现将棉籽饼生料栽培平菇技术汇总如下。
