Czechoslovakia proposed the patented structure of a hydraulic hammer (hydraulic screw press) in 1958 and exhibited the prototype at the Brno Machinery Industry Exhibition in the same year. In 1966, the LYH1000 1000-ton hydraulic screw hammer was displayed at the Brno International Fair (see Figure 1).
