The authors measured the laser-cut calf corneal thresholds for Er: YAG (2.94μm) and Er: YSGG (2.79μm) and observed the corneal ablation margin damage model under light microscopy. Two different pulse periods of 200 μs (normal peak) and 100 ns (Q switched) are used in both wavelengths. Corneal lesion bands measured at 2.94 μm and 2.97 μm wavelength for the normal peak patterns were 16 ± 2 μm and 39 ± 7 μm, respectively. The corneal thresholds were 250 + 20 mJ / cm 2 and 420 ± 35 mJ / cm 2. In the Q switch type no matter what kind of laser, the damage zone are 4 ± 2μm, the separation of corneal threshold is 150 ±
