The characteristics of zinc finger of Kruppel homolog-1(Nlkr-h1) gene from brown planthopper and its effect on expression of FAMET and JHE were studied in the paper,in order to understand the regulation role of Nlkr-h1. The evolutionary tree of each zinc finger in functional area of Nlkr-h1 was analyzed via MEGA5.0 software,and expression status of FAMeT and JHE after interference of Nlkr-h1 was determined using qPCR technology. The results showed that the functional area of Nlkr-h1 mainly included eight zinc fingers,and the conservativeness of Zn1 and Zn8 was relatively lower. In the brown planthopper with Nlkr-h1gene knockout,the expression levels of FAMeT and JHE increased. The paper provided the theoretical basis for understanding molecular mechanism of juvenile hormone signaling pathway and biological control of brown planthopper.
