Obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) refers to patients with sleep apnea caused by obstruction of upper airway obstruction, accompanied by hypoventilation, snoring, sleep disorders, hypercapnia, etc., so that the body occurs A series of pathophysiological changes in clinical syndrome. The pathogenesis and treatment options are hot topics in the industry. Because the pathogenesis and treatment of OSAHS inevitably affect the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), at the same time, TMJ-related diseases can also induce or aggravate OSAHS, and the intrinsic relationship between the two is not clear, therefore, this study will focus on OSAHS and TMJ This review summarizes the progress of the research on the clinical and pathological features of OSAHS and temporomandibular joint disease (TMD), the design and optimization of treatment options, and the evaluation of prognosis of patients.
