The American writer Elma Bambeck’s “Father’s Love” describes in a plain and plain tone a father who does not know how to express love verbally in his daily life. Although fatherly love is not straightforward, it is not felt. The author is good at combining the mother’s subtle and considerate love with his father’s amnesty, and even near-hard and cold love organically, and reads really touching and reasonable. “He asked me to send it back, telling me that it was I who stole the sugar and said that I was willing to pay him for the unpacking and unloading as compensation.” The father’s kindness could not be seen between the lines. In fact, in his blunt attitude, fatherly love manifested in a kind of responsibility.
