Objective To explore the factors affecting the serum uric acid level in elderly patients. Methods The 980 hospitalized elderly patients in our hospital for the first time from October 2011 to October 2012 were compared whether there was any difference in serum uric acid levels between different age groups and sex groups. Comparison of different levels of uric acid levels of blood pressure, glucose metabolism, lipid metabolism and renal function whether there is any difference. Results The level of serum uric acid in elderly men was (350 ± 129.7) umo1 / L, female (306.97 ± 132.5) umo1 / L, uric acid levels in aged 60-69 (324.18 ± 119.63) umo1 / L, age 70-79 (329.74 ± 130.52) umo1 / L, 80 ~ 89 years old group (342.33 ± 145.96) umo1 / L, 90 ~ 99 years old group (424.57 ± 196.98) umo1 / L. The creatinine was (106.59 ± 56.7) umo1 / L, urea nitrogen (7.32 ± 3.82) mmo1 / L, Ccr (52.44 ± 20.8) ml / min, total cholesterol (5.06 ± 1.34) mmo1 / L, (1.17 ± 0.4) mmo1 / L, L-LDL (2.76 ± 0.92) mmo1 / L and blood glucose (6.09 ± 2.44) mmo1 / L respectively There was no significant difference between the two groups in the prevalence of hypertension and hypertension (P> 0.05). Conclusion In elderly patients, serum uric acid levels increased with age, renal function and lipid metabolism levels associated with uric acid levels, but no significant correlation between blood pressure and uric acid levels, further confirmed the need for a large number of prospective studies to assist.
