自新中国成立以来,中美关系经历了曲折,中国民众对美国的认知也与之相适应而呈现出复杂的情况。抗美援朝运动中开展的形式多样、广泛深入的反美宣传活动,使普通的中国人对美国的认知定格在了美帝国主义是凶恶敌人的位置上,这种情况一直持续到1970年代。随着中美关系解冻和中国的改革开放,中国人对美国的了解渐渐增多,并且从迷惑走向成熟,从简单化走向多元化。 Since the founding of new China, Sino-U.S. Relations have experienced twists and turns, and the Chinese people’s understanding of the United States has also shown a complicated situation.
