Nearly by Nankai University Press solemn launch of a “history of Japan.” The book by the Asian history, Japan’s predecessor scholar Wu Tingmiao edited, Institute of History, Nankai University, Japan Institute of history and Liaoning University, Japan Institute of dozens of experts and scholars to write. The book is divided into three volumes, more than 100 words, published for our country as a masterpiece of Japanese history. The book has the following characteristics: First, guided by historical materialism. For example, on the issue of Japan’s lock-in, the commentators disagree. The book argues that the lock-up of the country is a historical necessity. It will be very difficult to maintain the foundation of feudal natural economy and freedom from colonial aggression without locking the country. Locke delayed the Japanese capitalism, delayed Japan’s modernization over the West by more than two hundred years, and the Meiji Restoration had to wear the shrine that “honored the king and barbarians,” and Japan’s capitalist system could not escape the remnants of the feudal period Troubled Regarding the Japanese Renaissance issue, the book pointed out that in the mid-Tokugawa period, despite the similar phenomenon with the Western Renaissance, at that time Japan’s capitalism was not hot enough and the people’s class had no power. Even with the emergence of classical culture and the development of civil literature and other phenomena, but also to meet the pleasure of pleasure desire. Therefore, “it is no accident that the vigorous European Renaissance movement can not be seen in Japan after its entry into the country.”
