营盘山遗址位于西昌市西北的樟木箐乡麻柳村2组营盘山山坡上,距樟木箐乡政府7公里,距西昌市约38公里,遗址地理位置为北纬27°57’19.4″～27°57’23.7″,东经102°08’54.3″～102°08’56.4″,海拔1540～1550米(图一)。遗址地处安宁河西岸的二级台地上,遗址现存面积约为2000平方米,但保存较好的堆积已不足500平方米。由于该遗址地处安宁河谷台地之上,文化堆积分布呈斜坡状,西高东低,文化层厚10～80厘米。地表现种植玉米、南瓜、桑树等。1975年修建的太和至琅环的道路从遗址穿过,严重破坏该遗址,道路两侧的断面上随处可见陶片和瓮棺葬遗迹。
The site of Yingpanshan is located on the hillside of Yingpan Mountain 2 in Maliu Village, Zhangmutou Township, northwest of Xichang City, 7 km away from the government of Zhangmutang Township and 38 km away from Xichang City. The geographical location of the site is 27 ° 57’19.4 “~ 27 ° 57’23.7 ”, longitude 102 ° 08’54.3“ ~ 102 ° 08’56.4 ”and elevation 1540 ~ 1550 meters (Figure 1). The site is located in the tranquil river west bank of the second stage, the existing site area of about 2,000 square meters, but better preserved less than 500 square meters. As the site is located above the tranquility of the valley, the cultural accumulation of the slope was rampant, west and east low, cultural layer thickness of 10 to 80 cm. The performance of corn, pumpkin, mulberry and so on. The road from Taihe to Langya, constructed in 1975, passed through the site and seriously damaged the site. The remains of pottery and urn coffins can be seen everywhere on both sides of the road.
