In the existing beneficiation methods, the copper oxide ore is either flotated by using a flotation agent of an oxide ore or after being sulfided by sodium sulfide, and flotation is conducted by using a sulfide-selecting flotation agent. Leaching with sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid are not very effective. The new method is mainly the use of SO 2 gas, which can be absorbed by water and make the water acidic. MnO2 can help to generate sulfuric acid, thus strengthening the leaching process.
