[Objective] To comparatively study the extraction methods for total flavonoids from RADIX RHIZOMA GLYCYRRHIZAE,and to optimize the extraction conditions of the optimum extraction method.[Method] The influences of accelerated solvent extraction,ultrasonic extraction,heat reflux extraction and warm soaking extraction on yield of total flavonoids from RADIX RHIZOMA GLYCYRRHIZAE were investigated,and the extraction conditions of accelerated solvent extraction were optimized.[Result] The accelerated solvent extraction was highest in extraction efficiency in comparison with ultrasonic extraction,reflux extraction and warm immersion extraction,and its optimum extraction processes were:7 min of extraction duration,110 ℃ of extraction temperature,one time of extraction times and extraction solvent of 70% ethanol.[Conclusion]The optimal extraction method with optimum extraction conditions of flavonoids from RADIX RHIZOMA GLYCYRRHIZAE was obtained in this study,which provided an effective and rapid method for the extraction of flavonoids from RADIX RHIZOMA GLYCYRRHIZAE.
