车祸即道路交通事故,据WHO(1998年)报道,全球每年约120万人死于车祸,相当于每年要毁掉一座中型城市;在我国,车祸年死亡人数高达10.9万人(2002年),居世界之首。车祸已严重威胁着人类生存与健康。预防车祸,减少伤亡已是全民关注的严重社会难题之一。 如何科学预防车祸,车祸流行病学从预防医学角度运用流行病学理论回答了这一问题。它是将车祸视作一种“社会疾病”(即卫生事件health event)
A car accident is a road accident. According to WHO (1998), about 1.2 million people die in a car accident every year in the world, equivalent to one medium-sized city destroyed each year. In China, the number of annual deaths in car accidents is as high as 109,000 (2002) Ranking first in the world. Car accident has seriously threatened human survival and health. Prevention of car accidents and reduction of casualties have become one of the serious social problems that have drawn public attention. How to Scientifically Prevent Car Accidents and Epidemic Diseases This problem was answered from the perspective of preventive medicine using epidemiological theories. It is a car accident as a “social disease” (ie health event health event)
