新课程理念下的自主学习,是在学校教育环境中由教师创造一定的自主学习的空间,采取一系列教学手段,组织有效学习活动,还课堂于学生的课堂学习方式。美国人本主义心理学家罗杰斯认为,教学的目的在于培养“全面发展的人”。他主张以学生为中心组织教学,促进学生自我学习、自我实现,培养学生的独立性、自主性。充分发挥每个学生的潜在能力,使他们能够主动探究、获取知识,愉快、创造性地完成学习。自主学习教改实验以教育主体自主性发展作为教育改革的起点和依据,对现行教育中只重视知识的掌握,忽视创新能力和个性发展的培养,造成学生被动地学习,动手与实践能力差,参与意识和参与能力不强等进行根本性改造。尊重课堂学生主体地位,要让有效的学生学习活动作为课堂主线,教师成为组织者引导者。
