我梦牵魂系的旧上海并不在此地,那是一个旅程是环游了东方曾经驰名的都会,但却只是一个缓缓苏醒过来的城市。如今想读一本合意的书不是难事,可是要求完全合意,却不容易。有的书题材合意,譬如《张爱玲年谱》,但是作者的文笔真真的败坏胃口。马来西亚小说家李天葆先生,前些年在中国出了一本随笔集《珠帘倒卷时光》,题材文笔俱佳,我读得入了迷。最近听说李天葆又出了一本《斜阳金粉》,忙不迭地搞来狂读,又担心一下子读完,读读停停,到底还是读完了,意犹未足,盼着李先生 Old Shanghai, where my dreams are based, is not here.
