以前人特别是丁颖五级分类法为基础,运用形态指数法、同工酶分析、光温生态试验、亲和力测定等综合分析法,探讨亚洲栽培稻系统分类中的若干重要的、有争议的问题,提出一些新观点及修改意见:(1)以形态学、生化学、生态学和亲和力综合分析结果为依据,把亚洲栽培稻分为籼粳两亚种是合理的;(2)把早中季稻群和晚季稻群改为钝感光稻群和感光稻群,既反映本质,又更具实用性;(3)深水稻应与水、陆稻具同等的分类地位。
