教材之于大学英语词汇教学的意义不容忽视。为了能更加深入地了解当代大学英语教材词汇层面的编写状况,本文以二语习得研究成果为评估依据,以课文生词密度为切入点,对当前通用的三套大学英语读写教材进行了调查。基于研究数据,得出以下结论:三套教材课文A的生词密度总的来讲不是很令人满意,虽然其中一套教材的生词密度比另外两套教材要理想得多。该研究结果对我国大学英语词汇教学和大学英语教材编写具有一定的启示。
The significance of textbooks in college English vocabulary teaching can not be ignored. In order to get a deeper understanding of the compilation of the contemporary college English teaching vocabulary at the lexical level, this paper takes the achievement of second language acquisition as the evaluation basis and the textual density of new words as the starting point to investigate the current three sets of college English reading and writing teaching materials . Based on the research data, we come to the following conclusion: The density of new words in three textbooks A is generally unsatisfactory, although the density of one of the textbooks is much better than the other two textbooks. The results of this study have some enlightenment on college English vocabulary teaching and college English textbook writing.
