The 24th Winter Olympic Games will be co-hosted by Beijing and Zhangjiakou in 2022. So far， the construction of venues and other basic infrastructure has been basically completed. Preparations for the 2022 Winter Olympics have stimulated China’s development. Owing to the construction of the international-standard ski resorts and the implementation of poverty-alleviation measures， Chongli District of Zhangjiakou City has experienced an economic revival and taken off， leaping from a state-level poor county to a new modern town.
