水利工程的最基本结构即为混凝土结构,而以混凝土结构为主的水利工程随着运行年限的增加,再加之设计、施工时技术限制、材料的质量及管理维护等多方面的原因,导致水工混凝土建筑物的病害不断的发生,如渗水、溶蚀等,使水工建筑物的使用性能无法正常发挥,安全性受到影响。在当前水工混凝土建筑物中以碳化和冻融所带来的破坏最为严重。以下分析了导致混凝土发生碳化和冻融的原因进行了分析,并进一步对防止水工建筑物发生碳化和冻融提出了具体的防治措施。
