特色办学究竟是为了什么?很多人面对这个问题,都会首选“为了学校发展,为了学生成长”之类的答案。然而,某些迹象表明,过程与目标错位,实践与认识冲突,创特色则有屈从指令和做给别人看的嫌疑。这种尴尬的特色办学显然不是办学者的初衷,但他们却有着自身的难处:难在缺乏培育特色的土壤,难在不能为广大教师内心所认同,学生所欢迎,但却出于形式考虑又不得不硬撑着。以“挣扎”的姿态办特色,不是自上而下所期望。在特色办学倍受重视和推崇的今天,如何走好特色发展之路?成都市武侯区华兴小学的办学个案也许能对我们有所启发。
