Colorectal cancer is the third most common malignancy in mankind in the world and ranks second in cancer-related deaths. According to the American Cancer Society, there were 102 900 new cases of colorectal cancer in the United States in 2010, due to death from colorectal cancer 51 370 cases. Therefore, to improve its survival rate and reduce the mortality has been a hot topic. As a member of signal transducers and activators of transcription (STATs), Stat3 regulates the activity of many genes in the proliferation, differentiation, angiogenesis, invasion and metastasis of tumor cells and immune evasion
