I. Preface In the 1960s, the industrial and scientific and technical departments have greatly increased the demand for rare elements. If we used to call coal “food for industry” and oil as “the blood of industry” in the past, then rare elements should be praised as “industrial life” today. According to the countless research results in the world, granitic pegmatites and alkaline rocks are two major sources of rare elements. However, past work has been biased towards granitic pegmatite and has accumulated considerable theoretical and experience in this regard. As for the latter, the work only started in recent years. In addition to the Soviet Union already has some theory and experience, the other countries are still just the beginning.
