According to the statistics of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, about 50% of the world’s food production increase is the result of adding chemical fertilizers. However, a large number of frequent application of chemical fertilizers not only increases the input of agriculture, seriously pollutes the environment, but also destroys the benign structure of the soil and the natural population of microorganisms therein, resulting in soil compaction and reduced fertility. Especially in recent years, the general increase in the amount of nitrogen fertilizer, high level of land grain output, the vast majority of China’s soil is seriously deficient in phosphorus and potassium, has become a limiting factor in food production. On the other hand, fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and microbial preparations currently used in agricultural production only emphasize unilateral effects, or emphasize chemical fertilizers or emphasizing microbial agents. They often miss out on each other and neglect to use chemical fertilizers. The organic combination of organic fertilizers and microbial preparations cannot satisfactorily solve these practical problems in agricultural production and urgently require development.
